INVITATION LETTER

4th International Congress on Plant Biology, Denizli, Türkiye
03-06 SEPTEMBER 2025

The “4th International Congress on Plant Biology, IconPb2025” will be held in 2025 in Denizli, Turkey, famous for its white travertines, which are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The event is organized by Pamukkale University, with support from the Flora Research Association and the Nezahat Gökyiğit Botanical Garden. The exploration of plant resources on Earth, their recognition, and their utilization for the benefit of humanity are extremely important. Such scientific activities are invaluable in uncovering the unknown properties of plants and making them usable. This congress aims to bring together experts in the field, discuss scientific research, provide a networking environment for young scientists, and share scientific data.

Denizli, located in the Aegean Region of Turkey, is a city renowned for the Pamukkale travertines, which are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, as well as for its textile industry and ancient settlements. As one of the most important centers of plant biodiversity in Turkey, Denizli is especially significant for systematic botanists due to its unique mountain ranges, making it a frequently visited location for botany research. The congress is planned to host global discussion topics under the theme of Plant Biology. In this context, the congress topics will cover various areas of Plant Biology, including Plant Systematics, Plant Anatomy, Plant Physiology, Plant Ecology, Plant Protection Biology, Medicinal and Economic Plants, and Plant Cultivation. We would be honored to have you join us at the congress, which will be organized in collaboration with the Department of Biology at Pamukkale University, the Flora Research Association, and the Nezahat Gökyiğit Botanical Garden. We extend our greetings, respect, and best wishes. Congress Organizing Committee
